Day Three Hundred and Two and Counting...

Today was our pumpkin carving party with the Browns!  We had several pumpkins - big and small!  And the mess we made?  Not small at all!
The girls supervise while Daddy gets the big pumpkins ready!
It was a busy hour of scooping, digging and squishing!  Grace was up to her elbows in goo, and Caden wisely chose to dig with a spoon! Nolan supervised, and Livie tasted the goo!
Check out the kids amazing job the kids did decorating their pumpkins!
Thanks to the guys' hard work, we have an amazing amount of seeds to cook tomorrow!
And I will have photos of our carved pumpkins tomorrow too!

Thank you, Brown family, for an evening of fun!

Day Three Hundred and One and Counting...

You always know when your child (or children!) is up to something... that sneaky little silence... it tells you everything!
And here is what Olivia's exceptional silence presented:
Uh-oh... someone is getting into Mommy's backpack!
Caught in the act!

Day Three Hundred and Counting...

Today, Grace had a special message for a very special Auntie Jenn!  It's her birthday!  And Grace was very happy to talk on the phone about anything and everything she could think of!  It was quite something to watch my little "teenager" on the phone, walking around and gesturing and making faces!  Hilarious!
Hand on hip, just oozin' attitude!

Wow... three hundredth post!

Day Two Hundred and Ninety Nine and Counting...

Olivia has developed quite the affection and attachment to my cellphone and camera... and tonight, she decided she should be the one taking pictures, not me.
Reaching, pouting, and ignoring me...

Meanwhile, Mr. Rogers was playing... and I interrupted!
Hm!  I have nerve, don't I, Grace?!

Day Two Hundred and Ninety Eight and Counting...

My girls were so pleased to come home today.  It was a noisy, chaotic kind of day... and just walking in the door to our silently waiting home, we all breathed a sigh of relief.
And that sigh released the sillies...
Olivia's "cheese" face, while her cheeks are full of croutons!
And Grace's "cheese" face, with her accompanying crouton!

And these are the Hallowe'en buckets the ladies got on the weekend...
Livie wants croutons in hers...!

Day Two Hundred and Ninety Seven and Counting...

This afternoon was perfect for building a fort... so the girls and I did!
Exploring the "new" space...
Are you coming in, too, Mommy?
What are you doing in here, Mommy?
Peek!
Just too darn cute!
