Day One Hundred and Sixty Three and Counting...

Today was the perfect lazy day!  All four of us made the most of the heat and each had a nice long nap!  Thank goodness for air conditioning!
After our siestas, it was time to go out and shop a little.  We brought home a few new friends for the girls...
Here is Woody, to be reunited with Jessie!

And here's Buzz!
I think she was posing for me!

Day One Hundred and Sixty Two and Counting...

Even though the girls both spent a great deal of time outside at school, they just couldn't wait to get outside again when we got home!
Grace and my watering can... she loves it!
She is curious what Grace is up to...
Teaming up to pick rocks!

And at dinner, Livie wanted to bite Daddy's pork chop, just like she watched him do!
Mmmm..!  She is a big fan of barbeque sauce!
 Chomp!
 Uh-oh!  Baby floss, anyone?
(She actually had a little piece of meat between her front teeth!  She was so upset!)

Day One Hundred and Sixty One and Counting...

I know I have had a few posts now with Olivia and her chocolate pudding and medicine concoction, but dang it!  She is so darn cute eating pudding!  She tries so hard to feed herself, and is just so pleased to manage it all on her own!
Such concentration!
I think she is trying to figure out how to get the pudding at the bottom...
Licking, perhaps?
Uh-oh!  Pudding at both ends!

Livie is trying to 'get' Grace with her pudding fingers!
Eeew, Olivia!
Oh, all right!  If you insist!  I will have a taste!

And one more...
My tired, adorable little miss!

Day One Hundred and Sixty and Counting...

Daddy was missing his girls, and feeling sorry for them and their various illnesses, so he brought home a treat!  And, yes, he did bring me one, too!  Love me some hot tea!
A straw just wasn't working... so let's try out a spoon!
Yep!  Much better!
Hammin' it up for Daddy!

Back when Grace started swimming lessons, I had bought her a pair of flip flops to wear around the pool.  She very rarely did, just being too darn excited to get to the water!  Since she finished her class, she has been wearing her flip flops around the house.  It took her a little while to get used to them, and now she almost never takes them off!  As soon as she gets home from school, she gets her shoes and socks off and puts the flops on!  They are her favourite thing to wear!
Hooray for the dollar store!

Day One Hundred and Fifty Nine and Counting...

This face will tell you all you need to know:
Sad... angry... and so not impressed!
Got home from school with a fever of her own... and yes, an ear infection!
Grace, at least, will take her meds without much fuss!

Olivia, on the other hand, requires a little more persuasion...
You can see the tiny little (nasty) granules of Biaxin in her pudding...
Guess it's working... for now!

Day One Hundred and Fifty Eight and Counting...

Well, today turned out to be another home day.  An unplanned and surprise home day!  Not because of Olivia and her various aliments, but rather because of Grace and an unexpected case of pink eye.  Eew.  Poor kid.  She came to me in Livie's room this morning and said, "Mommy, I can't see you!"  And later, when I wanted to take a photo of her yuck for my blog she said, "No pictures of my eyes, Mommy, 'cause they're sick."  So I made do with lots of other shots!
Grace has some magnetic drawing boards that she has ignored for awhile, so I introduced Livie to them, thinking it would be great for her to use while Grace used her computer or reader.  Oh no!  Now Grace has to colour with Olivia, to show her how!
Spent some time outside in the gorgeous weather... Livie was quite enthralled with the rocks in the corner of the yard!
Grace discovered a buttercup in the opposite corner!
Livie is a little concerned that Grace is going to try and climb up before she gets her chance... and yes, she can climb up all by herself!  (Giving her poor mother heart failure!)
Hmmm... you can sort of see her sore eyes in this one... poor little love!
See anything wrong with this photo?  No?  Well, she is on the outside of the climber... she has learned to climb along the outside from one opening to another!  Can you guess who taught her that?
Livie just wouldn't peek at me!
Wilson?  Is that you?

Day One Hundred and Fifty Seven and Counting...

It was a quiet Sunday for us.  Livie is still a little under the weather, and we wanted her to just relax and take it easy.
This morning, she wanted a turn to sit the computer desk.
Doesn't she look cozy?
 So pleased with herself!

This afternoon, to try and distract a rather distraught Livie, Jeremy put her and Grace up high.
On top of the shed.
Grace looks like she has had enough, don't you think?
Is he telling them to come down, or asking if they want to?
