Day Ninety Three and Counting...

Oh my!  What a busy, family and fun filled day!
Grace had her swimming lessons today, and we noticed a big improvement in her skills!  She is much more comfortable in the water - she kept dipping her head under the water, on her own!  She had a great time today!
Sharin' a little girl talk...
Dip, baby, dip!
Shake it all about!
Kick! Kick! Kick!
Ready and...
jump!
Splashdown!
Yay, Daddy!
Uncle Rob and Aunt Natalie came to visit!
Hooray for family visiting!
Blowing bubbles...!
Hey, Grandpa Frank!
Dinner!
Notice anything??  Oh, yes! Olivia's got baby bling!
How sweet is that?

Day Ninety Two and Counting...

Just for Grace, Easter came early!  (Mostly thanks to the incredibly beautiful weather!)  And just look at what that Easter bunny brought her!
Yep! Grace's very first two-wheeler!
She is anxious to get on!
Yes, safety first!
Ready to take it outside!
Olivia is ready for the sunshine!
Livie loves her bike, too!
Look at the happiness on that girl's face!
Livie is enjoying her ride!
Away she goes... my big girl!
Yay for warm weather!

Day Ninety One and Counting...

What a gloriously beautiful day!  A perfect start to the Easter holiday weekend!  Simply amazing!
Jeremy was home when we got home, and the girls couldn't wait to get into the backyard with him!
Grace is flying high!
Livie is busy exploring!
Livie is getting ready to slide...
Wheeee!
Grace's turn!
Phew! Almost missed her!
Livie is pushing our 'ugly baby doll' around in her stroller...!
Mmmmm... yogurt for dessert!  And yes, it requires two spoons!
You can just barely see the yogurt on Grace's chin... but she was trying to be silly like Livie, so I would take her picture, too!

Day Ninety and Counting...

It's an amazing thing when my girls rediscover a toy they haven't had a chance to play with for a while, for whatever reason.  Today, it was Grace's dollhouse.  Both girls just love it, but Olivia was more about carrying around the pieces and trying to climb it, than actually doing anything with the various parts.  It appears that she has been paying close attention to what Grace does with them, and tried to do the same!
She is trying to sit the daddy on the couch, but it came apart and he is on the floor!
**Mommy!  Fix this couch!**
Grace was peeking at us through the balcony... "I see you, Mommy!"
And a peek through the side window, too!

Jeremy decided tonight was the night to shave his head, rather than wait until our uber-busy weekend.  As you can see, the girls were fascinated with it!
Wondering just what Daddy is up to...
Looking like he escaped from an institution somewhere...!  Just look at those eyes!

Day Eighty Nine and Counting...

It is interesting, sometimes, to see the oddest little things being the most entertaining for my girls.  Grace and Livie both have plenty of little plushy buddies, and only a couple are really important close friends... but every now and then, someone new takes the place of honour for the day.
Today was 'bring in a bunny day' for Grace.  So, she had to choose one from her collection.  This was her pick.
Yes, she loves her bunny.
Now, Olivia had a different idea altogether!  Jeremy finished the last of the dinner rolls, and tossed the crumpled up bag onto her tray.  She was thrilled!  Waving it around and 'hiding' behind it...
A curious look at Daddy...
Pleased to have permission to play!
She is 'hiding'!  Note the closed eyes!
And now she is peeking to see if I am watching her hide!
** You couldn't see me, could you?**

Day Eighty Eight and Counting...

There are few things that can actually improve a Monday that has begun it's slow spiral into exhaustion induced tantrums... for Grace, there was a surprise package hanging on the door when we got home.  A package from Quaker with a promotional package of their new rice chips and granola bar.  She was thrilled with the surprise snack!  So was I, as the granola bar was laced with dark chocolate!
Livie's first taste of the new sweet chili rice chips...
Not sure if it was too spicy, or if she was just angry!
Grace just loves them!  And this is her attempt at a wink...!
And yes, the tantrums were temporarily postponed.
