Day One Hundred and Forty Nine and Counting...

The girls were very excited to have Grandma over to visit and babysit.  We spent almost the whole day outside!

Happy 11th anniversary to me and Jeremy!
We went to La Bella Vita Restaurant for dinner!  If you have never been, please go!  Wonderful ambiance, incredibly delicious food, and terrific staff!

My gourmet pizza - Wild Mushroom!  Three kinds of mushrooms and brie!  Absolute melt in your mouth goodness...

Jeremy's gourmet pizza - Classica!  Pesto sauce, capicollo (ham), grape tomatoes and roated garlic with buffalo mozzarella!

Dessert!  White chocolate truffle ice cream with pecan caramel brittle within and out, and caramel sauce!  Yum!

Day One Hundred and Forty Eight and Counting...

Olivia is simply impressed with the fact that she can climb the dining table chairs.  Its all she wants to do - other than climb up on the couches!  She loves that she can reach whatever is on the table... she loves to be up high! 
Tonight, I was sitting at the table reading the paper and she climbed up in the chair opposite me.  I was promptly engaged in a game of peek-a-boo!

After all this, Grace wanted to play at the table with her magnetic dress-up princess.  It used to be that she could play at the table and Olivia couldn't touch what she was doing... not so anymore!

She was singing a little song to her princess!

Day One Hundred and Forty Seven and Counting...

It has finally happened!  Olivia has figured out how to climb up on the dining table chairs!  And let me tell you, she is mighty pleased with herself! 

Grace was blowing tissues around the table with her straw.  She needed to go to the can, and Livie took the opportunity to climb up and have a go at it herself!

She is sitting across from me... just adorable!

While we waited for dinner to finish cooking, we went down to the family room to relax.  Livie was busily dumping toys and chose the potato-head glasses as the toy of choice!

Livie had her 15 month shots today, and by the time playtime was over she was some kinda cranky!

Day One Hundred and Forty Six and Counting...

Today was another really hot day.  Dinner was done early, thanks to Jeremy being home earlier than us girls.  So, we told Grace that if she did a good job with dinner, we would go outside so she and Livie could play in the pool.

She put on her very best pout... but she did eat dinner!  And so:

The air conditioner suddenly came on, surprising and amusing them both!

When it was nearly time to go in, we dumped out the dirty water, washed out the pool and started to refill it with icy, cold water... and the girls could not stay out of it!  Livie would get in, stay still for a second or two... then cry to get out!  And after warming up, she would be right back in!  Jeremy kept dunking Grace in it... she loved it!  And, she made a point of splashing him, too!

Day One Hundred and Forty Five and Counting...

I had a great time playing with my girls after school today - camera at the ready!  Grace got the doll house out for the two of them to play, and Olivia spent more time with it than Grace did.  The I was suddenly busy tickling them, and taking their pictures!

Day One Hundred and Forty Four and Counting...

Jeremy and Grace had their first "daddy date" today!  He took Grace to her first movie at a theatre!  She was so excited!  We weren't sure she would make it all the way through, but she did!
And to celebrate her success, and to beat the heat, they brought home some DQ cones to share with me and Olivia!

After our ice cream snack, it was time to break out the girls' bathing suits and jump into the pool!  I got it ready for them while Grace and Jeremy were on their date - and Olivia was napping. The sun had taken off the chill, and the water was just perfect!

Day One Hundred and Forty Three and Counting...

Out of nowhere, Grace suddenly decided that she needed to go out.  Specifically, she needed to go to the mall with the moving stairs.  Since we had nothing else planned, we decided she had a good idea and headed out.

The girls were exploring the back seat while Jeremy adjusted Olivia's car seat.
