Day Two Hundred and Sixty One and Counting...

Today was the BIG DAY:

Yes!  And Grace and I were two rows from the stage, and Jeremy and Olivia and our friends were in the lower bowl of the JLC for the show!
Sweet anticipation!

The show gets started...
And so does Grace!  And Olivia!  Both girls sang and danced their little hearts out!

Brobee's love of balloons enthralls Grace!  She watched him float with complete fascination!
And then she watched balloons fall from the ceiling...

She then felt the need to watch through the balloon she caught:

Bubbles!  Lots of bubbles!

And then... Biz!  That's right!  Biz Markie!
And Grace got to help with Biz's Beat of the Day!

There's a party in my tummy!

And then it was time for the VIP Party...meeting the characters, snacks, and playing with more balloons!
Grace made a point of getting all those balloons stuck to the intake vent.  Yes, all those balloons!

Hugs for her favourite Gabba friends!
Grace was in her glory!  I have never seen her so excited!

Sheer joy!

Something she will never forget!

Day Two Hundred and Sixty and Counting...

My girls were in a silly mood tonight!  Always on the lookout for a new accessory, Livie found a new hat!
Her new look for Fall? Delissio!

My girls also discovered the joys of Strawberry Shortcake!
*sniff sniff*
Yummy!

Day Two Hundred and Fifty Nine and Counting...

Something has changed between my girls recently.  Ever so subtly, ever so slowly, they have reached a new level in their relationship with each other.  Maybe it is Olivia's rapidly changing vocabulary, and thus her personality, or maybe it is more of a maturity on Grace's part - a better understanding of who and what Olivia is to her.
I honestly don't know.
But something has changed.
I have always been fascinated, watching them interact and connect.  It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.  And then this happens.  And they become even more incredible!
Suddenly, they are going out of their way to make each other laugh, to hug and be affectionate, to be nearer to each other.  Amazing.  Beautiful.
And so reassuring.  At last, that bond I have been waiting for seems to have emerged.  And it is awesome
What a blessing it is to be a part of this.  To be a witness to their growth as sisters, and as individuals.  To see how connected and intertwined their lives are, and are becoming.
I love you, my Cramer ladies!

Livie was being silly (and cute), trying to make Grace laugh!
Grace decided to get in on the silliness, and made a squishy face for me too!
Livie thought Grace was hilarious!

Bonus photos:
Grace was spying on me, trying to get me to laugh, too!
Those eyes really are something else, aren't they?
Of course I laughed at her shenanigans!

Day Two Hundred and Fifty Eight and Counting...

Today was a trip day for Grace and I and her preschool friends!  We got to ride a yellow school bus to Appleland!  It was so much fun!  The weather was perfect, the kids were happy and excited, and there was lots to explore and do!
Engineer Ernie was a great tour guide, and Dora (the dog) was a wonderful escort!
The apples were yummy!
Grace and her friends were so excited!
I think the highlight for the kids was Sandcastle Mountain...
And maybe for my partner, Hayley, too?!
She is posing on the highest peak!

Grace and I had such a wonderful time, and we can't wait to go back with Daddy and Olivia!

Day Two Hundred and Fifty Seven and Counting...

I have posted about the girls and their hats.  And their shoes.
Today, it was shoes... and gloves.
We got these great gloves from our neighbours after their garage sale last month.  Grace has finally figured out how to put them on herself, and she absolutely loves how they help make her more princess-like!  Especially when paired with her high heels, of course!
Grace is demonstrating how well the shoes and gloves go together!
She isn't pleased, is she?

Livie, on the other hand...
Not enjoying the gloves!
However,
She is determined to master Grace's flip flops!

Day Two Hundred and Fifty Six and Counting...

I guess there is no escaping it now.
I knew it was coming... I watched it developing.
It was amusing, and rather endearing.  But now, it has become an obsession for Grace.  And Livie?  She isn't far behind!
Yes, they are both obsessed with shoes!  Thankfully, they are still willing (enough) to share at this point.  But give it another few years...?  It doesn't look good!
Grace was nice enough to let Livie try out both her flip flops and her big-girl high heels... there was quite a bit of drama surrounding both... and it was hilarious to watch!  Livie was in heaven, clomping about in the heels!
Grace insisted on a close-up of her heels (as she is in love with them), and she had to carry them around for a few minutes as she worked up her "willingness" to let Livie give them a go!

Day Two Hundred and Fifty Five and Counting...

Hooray for Sundays!  Hooray for Sundays spent with grandparents!
We had a fabulous day, visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and helping them with their new television and fireplace/t.v. stand.  (And playing in the "farm" Grace had in their mudroom!)
Olivia, down on the "farm"!

We started our visit at Grandma's house with a picnic on their livingroom floor.  Grace decided to share her cheeseburger with Olivia - who was just thrilled!
They actually shared all of their lunch, which made me very happy!

Grace decided to help Daddy and Grandpa with the unwrapping of the television... or rather, just with the wrapping itself!

To keep the little ladies busy while the guys were busy assembling and connecting (etc, etc...), Grandma and I took them to Pinafore Park to play.
Busy climbing, sliding and giggling...
They loved the tunnels...!
Last stop?  Swings!
