Day Two Hundred and Forty Seven and Counting...

Believe it or not, our day actually revolved around a door.  Not a revolving door, this door:
This door is in my basement, where once there was nothing but a rough doorway and a baby gate.  Thanks to Jeremy and my dad, we now have a family room that is actually a room!  It is fabulous!  They did a great job!

Beyond all that hard work, there was a lot of lovin' going on...
Hugs for Opa!
Giggles with Oma!

And then The Cramer Ladies' Salon was open for business...
Giving Oma a little trim...
Olivia comes in to assist...
Jeremy offers his opinions, thus the amused look from my mom!
A little bit of a scalp massage..
Finishing up Oma's new 'do with a little extra love!
Checking with Opa to see if he needs a new 'do!

And a bonus photo...
Jeremy's alter ego!

Day Two Hundred and Forty Six and Counting...

This evening, we decided we needed to go for a walk.  No real surprise that we ended up at Timmy's, seeing as Jeremy and I both needed a fix!
Guess the end that was in the juice tastes better...?
Refueling before biking back home!

When we got back, we played in the backyard for a little while.  The girls played with the grasshopper 'buddies' they found:
Grace, and Olivia's buddies.  Olivia's was a little worse for wear when she was done with him... poor guy!
And I played with my camera, taking photos of whatever I chose...
It was a very enjoyable evening!

Day Two Hundred and Forty Five and Counting...

Jeremy wasn't home for dinner tonight... and the girls and I decided to have a little fun with our food...
 Hooray for long fettuccine noodles!
Yum!
Kissy-noodle lips!
Such concentration!

Love these two shots:
We had such a great time!  Dinner ended up being twice as long as usual... and we giggled all the way through!

Day Two Hundred and Forty Four and Counting...

Well, it's September.  I made Jeremy wait until now for the girls to wear their new fall fashions.  And when I got finished getting ready for work, he had them dressed a new outfit each!  And boy, was he pleased with himself!
So, while I wanted to take pictures of Livie in her new dress, I also got to take pictures of her showing me how she 'puts on her shoes' all by herself!
Look at her toes!  Extended with concentration!
Getting those toes in!
Looks like they are on...but its just her toes!
Great effort, kiddo!

Grace, meanwhile, was busy reading...
Beauty and the Beast, I think.
My Beauty!

Day Two Hundred and Forty Three and Counting...

Every now and then, I happen to catch just the perfect shot of one or both of my girls.  There is just something about it... the lighting, their expression, something in their eyes... or it just captures a fleeting moment, that is now ours to remember forever.
I think that is one of the best things about doing this project, my 365 blog.  All these little moments that I would have otherwise never captured with my camera or been able to share with all of you.  All these wonderful little things (and big things) that we can look back on, whenever we want.
Sometimes, it's these little moments that help me remember just what it is I love best about being a mom.  My children are amazing, and doing this every day helps to remind me of that.  Yes, the constant repetition and maintenance is sometimes monotonous and overwhelming.  But it's the little in-between moments that really matter, that make all the difference.
The sort of moments that make you want to get up again the next morning, and do it all over again.
I love you, my little ladies!

Day Two Hundred and Forty Two and Counting...

Thanks to my slow cooker, the girls and I had some extra time tonight... just enough to paint our nails!  They were both very excited about the whole thing, and I was happy to oblige!
We decided that Olivia should go first...
Grace is helping to blow on Livie's toes!
Checking if to see if mommy did a good job?
Livie does not want Grace to have a turn!
The finished product!

Later...
Grace was pushing Olivia around the kitchen in her highchair.  Livie was giggling hysterically!
Love catching them in the act!

Day Two Hundred and Forty One and Counting...

What a terrific Sunday... just relaxing in the a/c... at home, and at the mall!
The mall was crazy busy with all the back-to-school shopping going on!  It was challenge to keep Grace from getting trampled under foot!  Olivia was busy calling out to all the people going by.
We had a coupon for some yummy Cinnabon, and brought it home to share with the girls.  They thoroughly enjoyed it!
Grace, showing me what the inside of her roll looks like.
Look, ma!  No hands!
A big bite, just bustin' out with frosting!
Livie is showing me how she licks her fingers!
