Day Two Hundred and Sixty Eight and Counting...

Finally!  A not so hectic and busy Saturday!  It was manageable and relaxing!
Jeremy took Grace swimming - and she did fabulously!  She is a real keener this time, and has remembered her lessons from last set of lessons!  We are most pleased with her progress!
Seeing as Olivia and I had some time to ourselves, we did a little shopping, then played in the front yard.  It was a little cooler than usual today, so she finally got to wear this adorable little jacket:

And we spent some time together in the afternoon, just relaxing on the couch, moving between cuddling and goofing off!  It really was a great day!

Day Two Hundred and Sixty Seven and Counting...

Grace and Olivia were having a great time chasing each other around the house this evening!  Grace thought it would be great fun to get Livie on the floor and blow berries on her belly!  Livie giggled madly and kept asking for more!

Grace continued to go after Olivia when I put her in her chair for a snack...

And then decided that Livie needed a different `view` after her snack and pushed her over to the side door.  They had a wonderful time while Grace pushed her chair back and forth across the kitchen!  Livie was just happy to have Grace`s undivided attention, I think!

Day Two Hundred and Sixty Six and Counting...

What a lazy evening... we were all a little worn out!  But I think Jeremy was the most tired of the bunch, as he went to sleep on the floor.  Gently snoring away... until he catches the flash of the camera!

Livie, of course took full advantage of Daddy being on the floor...

She just loves cuddling up with Daddy!

Lately, Grace is taking her role as `big` sister very seriously.  Tonight, she was `teaching` Olivia how to do a puzzle.  They actually did an admirable job sharing and taking turns.  I was very pleased and rather impressed!

Charity is a beautiful thing.  It is a wonderful thing to teach the value of to your children... and sometimes that can be a delicious lesson, too!

Day Two Hundred and Sixty Four and Counting...

I am not sure what was going on with my girls tonight, but they sure were loving on each other!  Olivia is finally big enough to (almost!) hug Grace without falling over, and Grace takes full advantage!
I am constantly after Grace to make sure she isn't picking Olivia up to hug her... and walking off with her!  And Grace, brilliant child of mine, has come up with a solution!

Yes, Grace has Olivia laying on top of her for hugs!  Sure can't knock her over that way, can you?

This is how it starts... "Livie!  Come hug your big sister!  Come lay with me!"

Bliss!

Contentment!

Day Two Hundred and Sixty Three and Counting...

Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to be Grace's teacher again.  (I was her toddler teacher, along with my good friend Sharon!  What a year!)  And as thrilled as Grace and I are to be paired up again, she is rather taken with my partner, Hayley.  So much so, that I think that Hayley's sense of style is rubbing off on Grace...

This funky ponytail and fly-away hair combo has been labeled "Hayley Hair", and Grace is a recent convert!  As well, she loves the shoes Hayley brought in for dress-up, and is quite taken when Hayley wears make-up to school!

Interested to know what has my ladies so fascinated?

Day Two Hundred and Sixty Two and Counting...

Today was a much calmer and quieter day for my girls.  Thank heavens!  Yesterday sure was awesome, but it really was a treat to relax today!
