Day One Hundred and Ninety Seven and Counting...

While we were home yesterday, Olivia spent some time with Grace's barbies.  She had a real thing going on for Ken, and she seemed to pick up where she left off yesterday...

Day One Hundred and Ninety Six and Counting...

Things were running much more smoothly at our house by this evening!  Olivia is feeling much more like herself again -- and as she missed Grace terribly today, she was right in her space!  There were some ruffled feathers, but the girls made it through the evening just fine!

Oma brought this little pink bag over, and it was the source of most of the ruffled feathers, but they did manage to take turns!  Livie is going 'shopping', her favourite pretend play activity.

Olivia is giving Grace 'the eye', and making sure she isn't following her and her shopping bag!

Grace decided to spend some time with my copy of Bust magazine.  She was quite taken with several photos...

There is a woman wearing a crown on the left page, and Grace had quite the conversation with herself about her... being a princess, wearing crowns, fancy dresses...

 I have visions of her (not so much) older, reading trashy magazines as she lays about on the floor...

Day One Hundred and Ninety Five and Counting...

Hand-me downs.  Truly, a wonderful way to share with people you care about or a great way to help out complete strangers. When I was expecting Grace, a number of friends donated to her wardrobe.  And Olivia is wearing the same clothes.  For some of those outfits, she is the forth or fifth child to enjoy them.  It makes me smile with pride and pleasure to see her in them, knowing that she isn't the first - nor is she the last, as we are already passing on her baby clothes to another little lady in our circle.

Today, another friend of mine gave me these great sandals for Olivia, and offered me more of her darling's wardrobe.  I could not pass up such a great opportunity!  She is one well dressed little girl, and so is my Olivia!

Oh, and in case you are wondering why there are no photos of the girls today... its because I had to take Olivia back to the doctor tonight as she decided to start tossing her cookies at school, and spiked another fever.  Apparently its just a virus.  Sigh.

Day One Hundred and Ninety Four and Counting...

I started out preparing for my post with a whole range of photos to choose from... and then the most hilarious thing happened!  Jeremy decided to show the girls the HD Aquarium Channel.  They were transfixed.  It was amazing to see!
They both immediately tried to catch/touch the fish.  Grace tried to kiss the fish!  Livie was just beside herself with glee!

Day One Hundred and Ninety Three and Counting...

The girls were in weird moods tonight.  Too tired because of a busy weekend?  Cranky 'cause they were hungry?  Heaven only knows... but they sure assumed some fun positions for their television watching!

Day One Hundred and Ninety Two and Counting...

Hooray!  Another fun and family filled day!  Great Grandma (G.G.), Aunt Lynette, Uncle Rob and Aunt Natalie all came to our house to visit and share another meal!  It was an awesome day!

G.G. bridged the gap right away today, with a quick move with one of Olivia's favourite books!  Great Grandma would have several such occasions throughout the day!  Smooth move, G.G.!

Hooray!  It's Great Aunt Lynette's turn!  She was so excited that Livie finally decided to share a book with her, too!

Then, before we knew it, it was time for good-byes!  For once, the girls were not shy about saying good-bye and freely gave hugs and kisses away - for the most part, anyway!
