Day One Hundred and Eighty Four and Counting...

The girls had a wonderful surprise today!  Just two days after spending the day with Oma and Opa, they got to spend the day with Grandma!  They were beside themselves with glee!
This afternoon while Livie napped, Grace, Grandma and I hung out in the front yard - in the shade.  There was a lovely breeze, too.  Grandma let Grace play with her camera and take some creative shots of her own.  And I, of course, was busy with my own!

Day One Hundred and Eighty Three and Counting...

Today was a big day for Grace... it was her very first home day with just Daddy!  She was so excited!  They had a big day of shopping and a movie date ahead of them!  She was just thrilled to have a "date" with Daddy and go to see Toy Story 3.

Oma and Opa came to celebrate with us today!  We started out in the backyard, all huddled into the little bit of shade we had...

Livie thought it was hilarious to drag her chair around behind her...

So, Grace decided to get in on the action!

Then they followed each other around the yard, giggling!

The weather was perfect for a trip to the park, and we took Grace's bike and Livie in the wagon and let the girls climb to their hearts' content.  The incredible blue sky and fluffy clouds made a perfect backdrop to some quality family (and climbing!) time!

The girls were up ridiculously early today... and as unhappy as I was about it, I was thrilled to watch them together, all cuddled up on the couch! 

Yes, they are wearing matching outfits!

My girls were in a silly mood tonight!  Livie knew what was going on as soon as she saw the camera!  And she just started hamming it up for me!

Day One Hundred and Seventy Nine and Counting...

Both girls were a little spun when we got home... just no interest in sharing or playing together... what happened to the lovely sharing a snack vibe from yesterday?
Dinner is always entertaining, for one reason or another.  Grace wants to eat, doesn't want to eat; her flip flops are on, and now they're off... the list goes on.  And Livie is either too busy eating, or she is trying to get Jeremy's attention so she can 'share' with him, or kiss him... Adorable, I know.

After dinner, Grace was all about her keyboard.  Usually, the girls play together. But as I said, they wanted nothing to do with each other!  So Grace got right into it...

Day One Hundred and Seventy Eight and Counting...

Today was crazy busy, just trying to get everything done that we didn't get to yesterday.  And right from breakfast onwards, the girls had to be in the middle, "helping"!

Later this afternoon, Grace decided to eat a nectarine.  And Livie decided to help her.

We don't actually encourage Grace to feed Olivia... but in this case, it was just too darn cute to stop!  And, it was the nicest they had been to each other all day!
