Day One Hundred and Fifty Six and Counting...

This is a common sight at our house on most weekends.  Both girls love to nap with Jeremy.  He is nice and warm, and rocks gently... so gently you usually can't tell until you are nearly asleep.  Yes, I speak from years of experience!  In the case of this nap, Jeremy also had an accomplice!  Livie's temperature spiked again this afternoon... ans she had a fever with this nap!

Grace had a surprise today!  It was her turn for a haircut!  She has been asking for one since I came home with new hair... she just had to have new hair, too!

Olivia was much more herself today!  Hooray!  I am so grateful!  We both had a great night's sleep, and were ready to take on the day!

It was just misting when we got home, and the girls were anxious to be in the yard while Daddy was cooking.  If you look closely at the photo, you can see the puddle of water that Grace is desperately trying to get close to (and into!) and is filling with mud...

Day One Hundred and Fifty Four and Counting...

Olivia and I spent another day at home today, as she still wasn't feeling her best.  Her horrible cough has been keeping her awake, and her naps were very short and far between.  One of my friends hooked us up with a cool mist humidifier, so hopefully it will help her get some much needed rest tonight.
When Jeremy came home tonight, he brought his brief case in with him.  The girls love it!  It is their mission to try and open it!  And tonight, they worked together on it!

Day One Hundred and Fifty Three and Counting...

This evening was crazy rushed because Olivia had to go to the After-Hours Clinic to get checked... my poor baby has yet another ear infection!  Every time the poor honey cuts another tooth (or two or three...) she gets a cold, and an ear infection.
So, we treated the girls to take out for dinner...  Grace was thrilled!  Livie was more interested in her new 'phone' than her food...

Day One Hundred and Fifty Two and Counting...

Jeremy was waiting for us when we got home tonight.  Olivia was thrilled to see him!  We decided to treat the girls to freezies.  And Jeremy sat with Livie while she finished hers.  I am not totally sure what he was doing, but she thought it was just hilarious!

She is giggling almost uncontrollably!

Ever since Grace learned how to climb up on the couch by herself - when she was Livie's age! - she has always wanted to sit anywhere but on the cushions like she is supposed to!  She loves to walk along the back of the couch, to lay along it, and of course, sit on the back too.

I took this as I came down the stairs.  She knows she is not allowed to sit there, but tries to as soon as mommy is out of the room!  I told her to get down and within seconds...

Grace got a "princess computer" for Christmas, and she is getting quite adept at most of the games it has.  Olivia loves to watch her play and listen to the music.  We always position her high chair just so and she can see what Grace is doing, and Grace sometimes asks Olivia what she thinks.

After breakfast today, we decided to take the girls to the park - while it was still cool enough to actually enjoy it!
