Day Two Hundred and Four and Counting...

Today the girls got to wear their party dresses again - for Grandma and Aunt Lea's birthday party!  They were very excited to go to Uncle Rob and Aunt Natalie's house too see everyone - and Jewels, their dog!
Birthday hugs for Grandma from the girls!
And the pursuit of Jewels begins... they were both just fascinated with her - again!
Jewels, as she runs back and forth between the girls... excited, yet trying to avoid them!
Colouring with Aunt Natalie...
Livie's turn!
Uncle Rob and his ladies!
Uncle Rob got caught stealing a kiss!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA AND AUNT LEA!
I love sparklers!

Day Two Hundred and Three and Counting...

We finally did it.
We bought paint for the girls' rooms!  A gorgeous pink and purple... and we are leaving it up to Grace to decide what colour she will have in her room.  As of right now, she hasn't chosen one... not for certain, anyway.  She seems to think that if she changes her mind mid-way, she can have the other colour!  Not so, my dear, not so!
Hard to tell, but it is a fabulous shade of purple called Timeless Lilac!
And this one is Palace Rose, a delicious shade of pink!
Grace begins the deliberation process...!
Olivia is merely observing the goings-on.
But, she is hoping she gets to help!

Jeremy tried to capture a rainbow for me, too:

Day Two Hundred and Three and Counting...

It was the perfect evening just to goof off with the girls.  They were both in great moods, and feeling particularly ticklish!  I was all over both of them, and turned them into a giggling mess!  But, in between rounds, I had to sneak in some pictures, too!
Oops... did you hear that little toot, Mommy?
Grace was trying to escape the camera... she wanted me to put it away and tickle her some more!
Perched atop our new floor (body) pillows... one giraffe print, one tiger... both super-soft!
Just loved this one... she was laying on me (tackling me?) while I tried to take her picture!  A little over exposed, but just too cute!

Day Two Hundred and Two and Counting...

We were up a little bit earlier today, and the girls had some time to play before we had to be off to school.  Grace decided she was still tired and wanted to play 'sleep'.  So, she grabbed a tea towel and a pillow...
Just love her 'sleepy eyes'!
Livie was not interested in this game at all!  Grace was giggling at her...!
Reassuring cuddles were required...
And Grace pretended she needed reassurance too!
Grace decided that she needed to cheer Livie up, and thought that tickling her feet was the perfect solution... and it was!
Suddenly... Livie had bad news for Grace...
Sadly, it was finally time for school... and our fun was over!

Day Two Hundred and One and Counting...

Both my girls were worn out tonight!  It was Olivia's first full-day visit in toddler room!  She was thrilled (except for naptime!) and did really well... and it really tired her out!  All she wanted was mommy... and everyone knew it!
My Mommy!
Stop it, Mommy!  I am trying to cuddle you!
Livie is hiding, but she is smiling too!

I am really not sure just what Grace was doing here... but she was completely absorbed by it, and ignored my attempts to get her attention...
A very satisfying slouch...
More pictures, Mommy?  Seriously?
I am trying to watch my show, Mommy!  Can you wait?
Good grief, I love that kid!

Day Two Hundred and Counting...

I have reached another milestone!  Day Two Hundred!  So, I decided to celebrate by finally trying to make a collage of photos!  I have yet to attempt it!
Grace - in flight!

Livie's many faces!

Okay, so that was fun and super easy!  And I will definitely make more in the future!

Day One Hundred and Ninety Nine and Counting...

We surprise the girls with a trip to Grandma's house for lunch... and a visit to Pinafore Park in St. Thomas!  (We even saw Thomas the Tank Engine roll by!)  There is a fabulous playground and splash pad there, and we were thrilled to spend some time there.
Olivia could not wait to get at the water!  Grace was a little more timid at first, but did finally get soaked!  It was great fun trying to keep up with Livie as she ran back and forth across the splash pad...
Back and forth, back and forth!  She just couldn't get enough!  She was laughing and waving her arms the whole time!
Just barely damp... debating where to go next...
Discussing the cold water with Daddy...
Telling Grandma how much fun she is having...!
Or asking her to come in the cold water with her?

Once the girls were chilled and done with the water, we went to the playground.  Unfortunately, the equipment was rather warm, and Livie's legs stuck to the slide!

We ended our afternoon adventure with a trip to Shaw's for ice cream!  It was the perfect end to the perfect day!

And then this...
Just a perfect day!
