Day One Hundred and Twenty One and Counting...

Grace had  a very early start to her day... ridiculously so.  And, by the time dance class started, she was already tired.  Class did not get off to a good start.  She spent the first half (of a half hour class!) sitting and watching.  She doesn't much care for the stretching and warm-ups at the start, but even so!
She is smiling, but just because she sees me spying on her!
The 'fun' stuff starts...
Reach!
Daddy and Livie coming to check on Grace's progress...
Completely joined in, and having a great time!

Both of my girls are thrill-junkies, and love to be up high, upside down, flying through the air, or some combination of all three.  And Jeremy and I love to indulge!  Today, he was out in the yard with the girls, and Grace wanted him to spin her around.
Pleeeeeeease, Daddy?
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Day One Hundred and Twenty and Counting...

This morning was the first time that Grace actually brought Olivia some toys specifically for her to play with, and proceeded to tell Olivia what to do with them!
She sat with Olivia, reading a 'princess' story - a real mishmash of several fairy tales! - and directed the play of each character.  It was very amusing.  Olivia did not think so... and left the activity shortly after!

When we got home, Jeremy was very busy!  We went to find him...
Surveying his handiwork!
Daddy is showing his girls how loud the lawnmower is...
Hmm... will she still be interested in ten years or so?

Day One Hundred and Nineteen and Counting...

Yes, my girls were feeling a little silly again today!  Really, I think that may be one of the things that I love most about my girls - their incredible sense of humour.  There is nothing else on this earth that is anywhere near as soul-touching and satisfying as hearing my girls laughing... at me, him, or each other!   Jeremy and I will do just about anything to make them laugh!
Today, I put Olivia's high chair right next to the table while I made dinner.  She thought that being able to put her sippy cup on the table was the best thing ever!
**Hahaha!  I am so funny!**
**Seriously... I am awesome!**

This is Grace's "Ha-cha!"
(Not really sure what that means exactly,
but Grace really needed me to take a picture of it!)

Day One Hundred and Eighteen and Counting...

Jeremy and I love gadgets and electronics.  And we let our girls play with the controllers for the 360, the mouse and the keyboard, and the remotes for the television.  We even have kid-friendly apps on our 'berries.
(The only mark in my first 'berry is from Livie's first tooth!)
Back in February, Grace got a cool Little Einstiens toy from her Pop C. and Grammy Kelly.  It's a globe with various locations pictured, and different games to play.  She thinks its very cool, and a little frustrating at times!
**Note her level of concentration!  Her tongue is sticking out!**
 Joy!
Daddy has given Livie his 'berry, and it's playing the "Price is Right" theme - his ring tone of choice!
When can I get my own 'berry, Mom?

Day One Hundred and Seventeen and Counting...

It never fails.  You can fill a room with toys, and your children will still find something that is not technically a toy to play with!  One of my girls favourite places to play has always been the kitchen.  And the stash of toys?  My bakeware, in the oven drawer.
Arranging the pans...
Here, Livie is doing rapid little steps in place... on the cooling rack.  And giggling!
My happy girl!

Day One Hundred and Sixteen and Counting...

It appeared that my girls missed each other while at daycare today.  In spite of the fact that they do actually get to see each other while out in the yard.  Their playgrounds share a chain link fence, and they can see and talk to each other, and even 'play' through the fence - mostly running back and forth, giggling at each other!
This afternoon, while I made dinner, Grace and Olivia decided to play with their dollhouse.  Olivia mostly tried to climb it, and tried to take whatever Grace was using... but they were together!
**Note Olivia's knee on the second story!**
Yay!  Sharing!

Day One Hundred and Fifteen and Counting...

Both my girls love to have the shivers.  They will sit for ridiculously long periods while Jeremy or I trace circles on their backs or bellies, arms or legs.  They both resist the reactive shiver, and will just sit with their eyes glazed over... just like me!
Jeremy had the girls all to himself for a little while this morning, and they took advantage of him laying on the floor - crawling and climbing all over him!  He decided it was the perfect time to help them relax (and give himself a break!) and so started drawing circles on both of them!
Notice that he is running his nails along both their backs!
Love!

We took the girls to the Home Show at the Western Fair today, and man!  Was that place packed!  Wow!  Beyond not getting to look at most of what we wanted to, either because of the girls or the crowd, we did get to see and talk to a dragon!  Livie was so excited!
Livie's dragon!
When we got home, we were all worn out!  Three of us napped as soon as we got home!  And after Jeremy and Olivia woke up, they needed a few extra cuddles!
