Day One Hundred and Thirty Five and Counting...

Grace struggled through another dance class today... poor thing!  She tries so hard!  I guess ballet just isn't her strong point at the stage!
Can you spot Grace?
Checking her foot position...
Some little girl chat...
Boredom sets in...
One little friend tries to get Grace interested again...
No luck... my poor little love!

Oma and Opa came over for some visiting and shopping in the afternoon.  Both girls were very happy to see them.  I surprised Oma with my camera, and got some more photos of her and Livie together!
She is still shy around Opa at first... but Oma...
Oma gets big hugs and happy smiles!

Day One Hundred and Thirty Four and Counting...

Just like many children, mine are not the biggest fans of vegetables.  Even on pizza.  I mean, check out this spread!
Lots of toppings to choose from...
Just look at her face...!  She can't imagine why anyone would want to eat a mushroom!
Olivia is no more impressed than Grace was!
So, after a dinner of cheese pizza, the girls went out in the yard to play.  And what do I see Grace eating with Daddy?
I know it's hard to tell, but he is trying to convince her to eat grass.  Yes.  Grass.
And she did.  And she thought it was great!
Mmm... tasty?

Remember the peeking-over-the-fence photos from a few days ago?  Daddy needed to up his efforts a little... so:
Grace, perched on top of the fence...
Livie telling Daddy that she wants to help Grace 'spy' on the neighbours...
Team effort!  Way to go, kids!
(Is that sirens I hear?  Now the cops are after you, you little peeping toms!)

Bonus photo!

Day One Hundred and Thirty Three and Counting...

I love watching my girls eat... really enjoy (or not so much!) their food and the whole experience involved.  I sometimes wonder what they see when they look at what is on their plate... what it is that they like so much about it...  or if its just a matter of filling their little bellies...?
Here, Livie is stacking her supper on top of her cup... then picking it up,
dumping it off and saying, "Uh-oh!"
Grace does not seem impressed with me taking pictures right now...!
Mmmmm... dessert!
A handful of ice cream!
It's cold, Mommy!
Yum!

Day One Hundred and Thirty Two and Counting...

Grace was in the mood to dance tonight, and she wanted Livie and Daddy to be apart of it...  so, it was time for several games of Ring around the Rosie!
How impressed does Jeremy look?
Ring around the rosie...
A pocket full of posies...
Ashes, ashes!
We all fall down!
Ring around the rosie!
A pocket full of posies!
Ashes, ashes!  We all fall down!
Hooray for Daddy for singing and dancing with his little ladies while Mommy was busy behind the camera -- and in the kitchen!

Day One Hundred and Thirty One and Counting...

Grace and Livie love their new 'ponies' from Uncle Rob and Aunt Natalie.  They have been guests for breakfast for two days now!
This afternoon, Grace decided she wanted to spin with her pony, and Jeremy showed her the baseball bat spin!  She thought it was hilarious to try, and Olivia found watching Grace hilarious!
Getting the hang of it...
Feeling the effects...
Livie trying it out...!
Spinning right out of frame...
Trying again...?
Laughing...!

Day One Hundred and Thirty and Counting...

When Jeremy got home from work, he invited the girls go to the mailbox with him.  They were very excited to go for a walk!  Or, really, for a run!
Here she comes at top speed!
You can just see Livie, desperately trying to keep up!
Here she comes!
Daddy is helping Livie climb the pirate ladder!
** I see you, Grace! **
** Peek-a-boo, Daddy! **

Day One Hundred and Twenty Nine and Counting...

Happy Mother's Day!
And what a busy day it was!  First, we were off to Uncle Rob and Aunt Natalie's to meet up with Grandma for lunch!  The girls were very excited to play with Jewels, their Golden Retriever.  And Jewels did a very good job tolerating my touchy-feely girls!
She was beside herself with glee!
Grace and Livie finally got their ponies from Uncle Rob!
Happy owners of new 'ponies'!
Uncle Rob is making fart noises for Grace - who, of course, thinks he is hilarious!
Making fart noises for Livie, too!
Tickles for Aunt Natalie!

Before we knew it, it was time to go to Oma and Opa's house!  And, boy!  Did they have a surprise for us!  They have an enormous Maple tree in their front yard, and it took some major damage in the windstorm we had the other day.  A huge part of the tree broke away!
The branch broke off here, and landed on a car driving by!  The driver walked away without a scratch, but his car is toast!
Here is an indication of how *big* the branch is/was!

Oma is hiding behind Livie... while she keeps her steady!
Here is the wagon the girls got from Oma and Opa -- their first ride!
Livie's turn to pull!
Bye-bye!
